Umar gave a horse of his as a contribution in the cause of Allah, then later saw it being offered for sale and wanted to buy it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Do not take back your charity."

أن عمر حمل على فرس له في سبيل الله ثم رآها تباع فأراد أن يشتريها فقال له رسول الله ﷺ لا تعد في صدقتك
