On the day of the conquest of Mecca, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived riding a she-camel belonging to Usama bin Zayd. He made it kneel in the courtyard of the Kaabah, then called for Uthman bin Talha to bring the key. Uthman brought it and unlocked the door. The Prophet ﷺ entered along with Usama, Bilal, and Uthman bin Talha. They closed the door behind them and remained inside for a long while before opening it.Abdullah said, "I rushed ahead of the people and found Bilal standing at the door, so I asked him, 'Where did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray?'"Bilal replied, "Between the two front pillars."Abdullah said, "But I forgot to ask him how many units of prayer he performed."

دخل رسول الله ﷺ يوم فتح مكة على ناقة لأسامة بن زيد حتى أناخ بفناء الكعبة فدعا عثمان بن طلحة بالمفتاح فجاء به ففتح فدخل النبي ﷺ وأسامة وبلال وعثمان بن طلحة فأجافوا عليهم الباب مليا ثم فتحوه قال عبد الله فبادرت الناس فوجدت بلالا على الباب قائما فقلت أين صلى رسول الله ﷺ قال بين العمودين المقدمين قال ونسيت أن أسأله كم صلى
