Abdullah bin Umar reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever hoards food for forty nights has cut himself off from Allah the Exalted, and Allah the Exalted has cut Himself off from him. And any community in which a man wakes up hungry has lost the protection of Allah the Exalted."

عن النبي ﷺ من احتكر طعاما أربعين ليلة فقد برئ من الله تعالى وبرئ الله تعالى منه وأيما أهل عرصة أصبح فيهم امرؤ جائع فقد برئت منهم ذمة الله تعالى
