The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The example of the Quran is like that of hobbled camels. If their owner keeps watch over them with their hobble-ropes, he retains them, but if he loosens their ropes, they wander off."
حدثنا محمد بن عبيد قال حدثنا عبيد الله عن نافع
قال رسول الله ﷺ إنما مثل القرآن مثل الإبل المعقلة إن تعاهدها صاحبها بعقلها أمسكها عليه وإن أطلق عقلها ذهبت
