The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to set out by way of the Shajarah road, and he would enter Mecca through the upper pass and leave through the lower pass.

أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يخرج من طريق الشجرة وكان يدخل مكة من الثنية العليا ويخرج من الثنية السفلى
