Abbas asked the Prophet ﷺ for permission to spend that night in Mecca to attend to the watering of the pilgrims, and he granted him permission.
حدثنا روح حدثنا عبيد الله بن عمر عن نافع
أن العباس استأذن النبي ﷺ في أن يبيت تلك الليلة بمكة من أجل السقاية فأذن له
Its isnad is sahih. In H, it says "Abdullah bin Umar," but the correct form is "Ubaydullah," with the diminutive form, and we have corrected it from K and M. It has already appeared via the route of Ubaydullah bin Umar, from Nafi, 4691, 4731.
