Ibn Umar would almost curse Bayda and say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered into the state of ihram only from the mosque."
حدثنا روح حدثنا شعبة عن موسى بن عقبة سمعت
كان ابن عمر يكاد يلعن البيداء ويقول إنما أهل رسول الله ﷺ من المسجد
