The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out of Ayesha's house and said, "Disbelief comes from here, from where the horn of Satan rises."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا عكرمة بن عمار عن سالم
خرج رسول الله ﷺ من بيت عائشة فقال إن الكفر من هاهنا من حيث يطلع قرن الشيطان
Its isnad is sahih. Ikrima bin Ammar Ajli Yamami, his reliability was already established at 203, and we add here that Bukhari mentioned him in al-Kabir 50/1/4 without noting any criticism, and Ibn Abu Hatim mentioned him in 2/3/10-11 and reported with his isnad from Tanafisi, "Waki narrated to us from Ikrima bin Ammar, and he was reliable." He also reported from Ibn Main, who said, "Ikrima bin Ammar was truthful, there is no harm in him." He also reported from him, saying, "Ikrima was illiterate, but he had a strong memory." The hadith is a longer version, 4754.
