He divorced his wife while she was menstruating, so Umar asked the Prophet ﷺ about it. He said, "Order him to take her back, then let him divorce her when she is in a state of purity or pregnant."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا سفيان عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن مولى آل طلحة عن سالم يعني ابن عبد الله
أنه طلق امرأته وهي حائض فسأل عمر النبي ﷺ فقال مره فليراجعها ثم ليطلقها طاهرا أو حاملا
Its isnad is sahih. Something similar to it in meaning has already passed at greater length, from the narration of Ayub from Nafi, 4500. It will come with this same isnad at 5228.
