Abdullah bin Umar reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted women to let their garments hang down a hand-span.The women said, "Messenger of Allah, in that case our feet will be exposed."He replied, "Then a forearm's length, but do not add more than that."

أن رسول الله ﷺ رخص للنساء أن يرخين شبرا فقلن يا رسول الله إذن تنكشف أقدامنا فقال ذراعا ولا تزدن عليه
