Its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud (2:103) narrated it with an addition at the end, from Ahmad bin Hanbal, from Yaqub, from his father, from Ibn Ishaq. The prohibition against clothing touched by wars or saffron has been mentioned repeatedly before, most recently at 4538. The prohibition against gloves and the face veil is established from the hadith of Ibn Umar as well, through another route, narrated by Ahmad, Bukhari, Nasai, and Tirmidhi, who graded it sahih, as in al-Muntaqa 2435. In H, "and clothing touched by wars or saffron," and it was corrected from K.
