The Prophet ﷺ forbade the meat of domestic donkeys on the day of Khaybar.
حدثنا يحيى عن عبيد الله حدثني نافع
عن النبي ﷺ أنه نهى يوم خيبر عن لحوم الحمر الأهلية
Its isnad is sahih, and Bukhari and Muslim also narrated it, as in al-Muntaqa 4566. The gist of its meaning has already passed in the hadith of Ali bin Abu Talib, 592, 812, 1203.
