The Messenger of Allah ﷺ made an agreement with the people of Khaybar that they would receive half of whatever the land produced in fruit or crops.
حدثنا يحيى عن عبيد الله عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ عامل أهل خيبر بشطر ما يخرج من ثمر أو زرع
Its isnad is sahih. It was narrated by the group, as in Muntaqa 3043. It will come at greater length at 4732. Something similar in meaning has already passed in the hadith of Ibn Abbas at 2255.
