I prayed beside Ibn Umar and began turning over the pebbles. He said, "Do not turn over the pebbles, for that is from Satan. Rather, do as you saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do. He used to move them like this."Abu Abdullah said, meaning, with a single wipe.

Its isnad is sahih. Ali bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Muawi was a reliable follower of the companions, deemed reliable by Abu Zura, Nasai, and others. He has nothing in the Six Books except this hadith, found in Muslim, Abu Dawud, and Nasai, as noted in his biography in Tahdheeb. Abu Abdullah, who interpreted it as a single wipe, is Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal.
