The Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you should eat from the meat of his sacrifice beyond three days."
قال قرأ علي سفيان بن عيينة الزهري
عن النبي ﷺ قال لا يأكل أحدكم من لحم أضحيته فوق ثلاث
Its isnad is sahih. Muslim narrated it similarly (2:120) through Layth and Dahhak bin Uthman from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, and through Mamar from Zuhri from Salim, from his father. Tirmidhi narrated it and graded it sahih (2:360) through Layth from Nafi. Bukhari narrated another hadith similar to it (24:10) through the nephew of Ibn Shihab from his uncle, from Salim, from his father.
