I heard a man asking Abdullah bin Masud about how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would turn after his prayer, whether he would turn to his right or to his left.Abdullah bin Masud replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would turn whichever way he wished. Most often, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would turn from his prayer on his left side toward his chamber."
حدثنا يعقوب حدثنا أبي عن ابن إسحاق قال حدثني عن انصراف رسول الله ﷺ
سمعت رجلا يسأل عبد الله بن مسعود عن انصراف رسول الله ﷺ من صلاته عن يمينه كان ينصرف أو عن يساره قال فقال عبد الله بن مسعود كان رسول الله ﷺ ينصرف حيث أراد كان أكثر انصراف رسول الله ﷺ من صلاته على شقه الأيسر إلى حجرته
