Abu Ubayd reported,

I saw Ali and Uthman performing the prayer on the day of Fitr and the day of Adha, after which they would depart and admonish the people.He said, I heard them both say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade fasting on these two days."He said, I heard Ali say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that any of your sacrificial meat remain with you after three days."
