The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said one thing, and I said another. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever dies associating anything with Allah will enter the Fire."And I said, "Whoever dies without associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise."He meant, setting up a rival to Allah .
حدثنا ابن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن الأعمش عن أبي وائل عن عبد الله قال قال رسول الله ﷺ فذكر مثله إلا أنه قال يجعل لله عز وجل ندا
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of the one before it. However, the words "from Amash" have dropped out of the isnad here in the two original manuscripts, for Shubah never narrated from Abu Waail at all and never met him, he only narrates from him through an intermediary. This very hadith will come later through the route of Shubah from Amash from Abu Waail, 4406, 4425. So the dropping of the name Amash from the isnad is certainly an error on the part of the copyists.
