The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us the prayer. He said the takbir and raised his hands, then he bowed and joined his palms together and placed them between his knees. This reached Saad, who said, "My brother has spoken the truth. We used to do that, then we were commanded to do this," and he took hold of his knees.Asim bin Kulayb narrated it to me in this way.
حدثنا يحيى بن آدم حدثنا عبد الله بن إدريس أملاه علي من كتابه عن عاصم بن كليب عن عبد الرحمن بن الأسود حدثنا علقمة
علمنا رسول الله ﷺ الصلاة فكبر ورفع يديه ثم ركع وطبق بين يديه وجعلهما بين ركبتيه فبلغ سعدا فقال صدق أخي قد كنا نفعل ذلك ثم أمرنا بهذا وأخذ بركبتيه حدثني عاصم بن كليب هكذا
