The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever frees his share in a slave, and has enough wealth to cover the full price of the slave, the slave shall be valued at a fair price, his partners shall be given their due, and the slave shall be freed by him. Otherwise, he has freed only what he has freed."
حدثنا إسحاق بن عيسى أنبأنا مالك عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال من أعتق شركا له في عبد فكان له ما يبلغ ثمن العبد فإنه يقوم قيمة عدل فيعطى شركاؤه حقهم وعتق عليه العبد وإلا فقد أعتق ما أعتق
