On the day of Badr, every three men shared one camel between them. The Prophet's ﷺ companions on his camel were Ali and Abu Lubabah.Whenever it was the Prophet's ﷺ turn to walk, the two of them would say to him, "Ride, and we will walk in your place."He would reply, "Neither of you is stronger than I am, nor am I any less in need of the reward than you are."

كانوا يوم بدر بين كل ثلاثة نفر بعير وكان زميل النبي ﷺ علي وأبو لبابة قال وكان إذا كانت عقبة النبي ﷺ قالا له اركب حتى نمشي عنك فيقول ما أنتما بأقوى مني وما أنا بأغنى عن الأجر منكما
