Abdullah bin Masud reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever says, 'O Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, I make a covenant with You in this worldly life that I bear witness that there is no god but You alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is Your servant and messenger. If You leave me to myself, You bring me near to evil and distance me from good, and I have no trust except in Your mercy. So grant me a covenant with You that You will fulfill for me on the Day of Resurrection, for indeed You do not break Your promise,' then Allah will say to His angels on the Day of Resurrection, 'My servant has made a covenant with Me, so fulfill it for him,' and Allah will admit him into Paradise."Suhayl said, I told Qasim bin Abdul-Rahman that Awn had reported such and such, and he said, "There is not a young girl in our household but she says this in her chamber."

عن عبد الله بن مسعود

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال من قال اللهم فاطر السموات والأرض عالم الغيب والشهادة إني أعهد إليك في هذه الحياة الدنيا أني أشهد أن لا إله إلا أنت وحدك لا شريك لك وأن محمدا عبدك ورسولك فإنك إن تكلني إلى نفسي تقربني من الشر وتباعدني من الخير وإني لا أثق إلا برحمتك فاجعل لي عندك عهدا توفينيه يوم القيامة إنك لا تخلف الميعاد إلا قال الله لملائكته يوم القيامة إن عبدي قد عهد إلي عهدا فأوفوه إياه فيدخله الله الجنة قال سهيل فأخبرت القاسم بن عبد الرحمن أن عونا أخبر بكذا وكذا قال ما في أهلنا جارية إلا وهي تقول هذا في خدرها
