Among the things I have not forgotten about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is that he would give the salutation to his right, saying, "Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah," until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen, and to his left, saying, "Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah," until the whiteness of his cheek could also be seen.

ما نسيت فيما نسيت عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه كان يسلم عن يمينه السلام عليكم ورحمة الله حتى يرى بياض خده وعن يساره السلام عليكم ورحمة الله حتى يرى بياض خده أيضا
