Abdullah bin Masud reported,

The two sons of Mulaykah came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Our mother used to honor her husband and show tenderness toward her child." The narrator said, "And they mentioned the guest as well, except that she had practiced female infanticide in the days of ignorance."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Your mother is in the Fire."The two turned away with sorrow visible on their faces. He then ordered that they be brought back, and they returned with joy visible on their faces, hoping that something had changed.He said, "My mother is with your mother."A man from among the hypocrites said, "What good does this do for his own mother, while we tread upon his heels?"A man from the Ansar, and I have never seen a man who asked more questions than he did, said, "Messenger of Allah, has your Lord promised you anything regarding her, or regarding the two of them?"The Prophet ﷺ thought he was referring to something he had heard, so he said, "I have not asked my Lord about it, nor has He given me hope concerning it. But I shall stand at the Praiseworthy Station on the Day of Resurrection."The Ansari asked, "And what is that Praiseworthy Station?"He said, "That is when you are brought forth naked, barefoot, and uncircumcised. The first to be clothed will be Ibrahim . Allah will say, 'Clothe my dear friend.' He will be brought two white garments and will put them on, then he will sit facing the Throne. Then I will be brought my garment and will put it on, and I will stand at his right hand in a position no one else will occupy, envied for it by the first and the last. And a river will be opened from al-Kawthar to the Pool."The hypocrites said, "Water never flows except over silt or pebbles."The Ansari said, "Messenger of Allah, is it over silt or pebbles?"He said, "Its silt is musk and its pebbles are pearls."The hypocrite said, "I have never heard the like of today. Water rarely flows over silt or pebbles without there being vegetation along it."The Ansari said, "Messenger of Allah, does it have any vegetation?"He said, "Yes, branches of gold."The hypocrite said, "I have never heard the like of today. A branch rarely sprouts without producing leaves and bearing fruit."The Ansari said, "Messenger of Allah, is there any fruit?"He said, "Yes, fruits of various jewels. Its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. Whoever drinks from it once will never thirst again, and whoever is denied it will never be quenched again."

عن ابن مسعود قال

جاء ابنا مليكة إلى النبي ﷺ فقالا إن أمنا كانت تكرم الزوج وتعطف على الولد قال وذكر الضيف غير أنها كانت وأدت في الجاهلية قال أمكما في النار فأدبرا والشر يرى في وجوههما فأمر بهما فردا فرجعا والسرور يرى في وجوههما رجيا أن يكون قد حدث شيء فقال أمي مع أمكما فقال رجل من المنافقين وما يغني هذا عن أمه شيئا ونحن نطأ عقبيه فقال رجل من الأنصار ولم أر رجلا قط أكثر سؤالا منه يا رسول الله هل وعدك ربك فيها أو فيهما قال فظن أنه من شيء قد سمعه فقال ما سألته ربي وما أطمعني فيه وإني لأقوم المقام المحمود يوم القيامة فقال الأنصاري وما ذاك المقام المحمود قال ذاك إذا جيء بكم عراة حفاة غرلا فيكون أول من يكسى إبراهيم عليه السلام يقول اكسوا خليلي فيؤتى بريطتين بيضاوين فليلبسهما ثم يقعد فيستقبل العرش ثم أوتى بكسوتي فألبسها فأقوم عن يمينه مقاما لا يقومه أحد غيري يغبطني به الأولون والآخرون قال ويفتح نهر من الكوثر إلى الحوض فقال المنافقون فإنه ما جرى ماء قط إلا على حال أو رضراض قال يا رسول الله على حال أو رضراض قال حاله المسك ورضراضه التوم قال المنافق لم أسمع كاليوم قلما جرى ماء قط على حال أو رضراض إلا كان له نبتة فقال الأنصاري يا رسول الله هل له نبت قال نعم قضبان الذهب قال المنافق لم أسمع كاليوم فإنه قلما نبت قضيب إلا أورق وإلا كان له ثمر قال الأنصاري يا رسول الله هل من ثمر قال نعم ألوان الجوهر وماؤه أشد بياضا من اللبن وأحلى من العسل إن من شرب منه مشربا لم يظمأ بعده وإن حرمه لم يرو بعده
