"The heart did not lie about what it saw" [Najm 53:11]. He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw Jibreel in a garment of fine green silk that filled what is between the heaven and the earth."

ما كذب الفؤاد ما رأى قال رأى رسول الله ﷺ جبريل في حلة من رفرف قد ملأ ما بين السماء والأرض
Its isnad is sahih. Tirmidhi 4:190 also related it and said, a hasan sahih hadith. Abd bin Humayd, Ibn Jareer, Ibn Munzir, Tabarani, and Hakim also related it, and he graded it sahih, as in Durr Manthur 6:123.Rafraf refers to what is made of brocade or similar fabric, being fine and of excellent craftsmanship.
