The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is not fitting for anyone to say that I am better than Yunus bin Matta."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا سفيان عن الأعمش عن أبي وائل
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا ينبغي لأحد أن يقول أنا خير من يونس بن متى
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related it, 6:324, through the route of Thawri, from Amash. See also what came before in the Musnad of Ibn Abbas, 3252.
