Abdullah bin Masud reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by me while I was praying, and he said, "Ask, and you shall be given, son of Umm Abd."Abu Bakr and Umar hurried over to him. Umar said, "Abu Bakr never raced me to anything without beating me to it." So they both asked him about what he had said.He replied, "It is part of a supplication I scarcely ever leave. O Allah, I ask You for blessings that never perish, delight of the eye that never fades, and the company of the Prophet ﷺ Muhammad in the highest part of Paradise, the Garden of eternity."

حدثنا يحيى عن شعبة حدثنا أبو إسحاق عن أبي عبيدة

عن عبد الله قال

مر بي رسول الله ﷺ وأنا أصلي فقال سل تعطه يا ابن أم عبد فابتدر أبو بكر وعمر رضي الله عنهما قال عمر ما بادرني أبو بكر إلى شيء إلا سبقني إليه أبو بكر فسألاه عن قوله فقال من دعائي الذي لا أكاد أدع اللهم إني أسألك نعيما لا يبيد وقرة عين لا تنفد ومرافقة النبي ﷺ محمد في أعلى الجنة جنة الخلد
