Abdullah bin Masud reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided some spoils one day, and a man from the Ansar said, "This is a division in which the pleasure of Allah was not sought."I said, "Enemy of Allah, I will surely inform the Messenger of Allah ﷺ of what you have said."So I mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ, and his face turned red. Then he said, "May the mercy of Allah be upon Musa. He was harmed with more than this, yet he remained patient."

حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا الأعمش عن شقيق

عن عبد الله قال

قسم رسول الله ﷺ ذات يوم قسما قال فقال رجل من الأنصار إن هذه لقسمة ما أريد بها وجه الله عز وجل قال فقلت يا عدو الله أما لأخبرن رسول الله ﷺ بما قلت قال فذكر ذلك للنبي ﷺ فاحمر وجهه قال ثم قال رحمة الله على موسى لقد أوذي بأكثر من هذا فصبر
