The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is to be no staying up in conversation after the prayer," meaning the final evening prayer, "except for one of two men, a person praying or a traveler."
حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن خيثمة عن رجل من قومه
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا سمر بعد الصلاة يعني العشاء الآخرة إلا لأحد رجلين مصل أو مسافر
