A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "When is Laylat al-Qadr?"The Prophet ﷺ said, "Who among you remembers the night of the reddish glow?"Abdullah said, "I do, may my father and mother be ransomed for you. I had some dates in my hand which I was eating for my pre-dawn meal, shielded behind the rear of my saddle from the breaking of dawn, and that was when the moon rose."

أن رجلا أتى النبي ﷺ فقال متى ليلة القدر قال من يذكر منكم ليلة الصهباوات قال عبد الله أنا بأبي أنت وأمي وإن في يدي لتمرات أستحر بهن مستترا بمؤخرة رحلي من الفجر وذلك حين طلع القمر
Its chain of transmission is daif because of a break in it. It appears in Majma al-Zawaid 3:174-175, where it is stated, "Ahmad, Abu Yaala, and Tabarani in al-Kabir narrated it. Abu Ubayda did not hear from his father."Its text in al-Zawaid is corrupted, so it should be corrected from here. "Astahiru bihinna" means "I take the pre-dawn meal," from suhoor, which is the food eaten at the time of suhoor. I did not find "astahiru" used with this meaning, but they say "istahrana," meaning "we entered the time of suhoor and rose to travel at that time." In (K) it appears as "atasahharu," in the well-known form.
