Shall I tell you about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while traveling?We said, "Yes."He said, "When the sun passed its zenith while he was still at his stopping place, he would combine Zuhr and Asr before mounting his ride. If the sun had not yet passed its zenith while he was at his stopping place, he would set out, and when the time for Asr arrived, he would dismount and combine Zuhr and Asr. When the time for Maghrib came while he was at his stopping place, he would combine it with Isha. If its time had not yet come while he was there, he would mount his ride, and when the time for Isha arrived, he would dismount and combine the two."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق قال أخبرنا ابن جريج قال أخبرني حسين بن عبد الله بن عبيد الله بن عباس عن عكرمة وعن كريب أن
ألا أحدثكم عن صلاة رسول الله ﷺ في السفر قال قلنا بلى قال كان إذا زاغت الشمس في منزله جمع بين الظهر والعصر قبل أن يركب وإذا لم تزغ له في منزله سار حتى إذا حانت العصر نزل فجمع بين الظهر والعصر وإذا حانت المغرب في منزله جمع بينها وبين العشاء وإذا لم تحن في منزله ركب حتى إذا حانت العشاء نزل فجمع بينهما
