The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the most generous of people in doing good, and he was at his most generous during Ramadan when Jibreel would meet him. Jibreel would meet him every night of Ramadan until it ended, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would recite the Quran to him. When Jibreel met him, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was more generous in doing good than the unleashed wind.

كان رسول الله ﷺ أجود الناس بالخير وكان أجود ما يكون في رمضان حين يلقاه جبريل وكان يلقاه جبريل كل ليلة في رمضان حتى ينسلخ يعرض عليه رسول الله ﷺ القرآن فإذا لقيه جبريل كان رسول الله ﷺ أجود بالخير من الريح المرسلة
