Saab bin Jathama presented a wild donkey to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while the Prophet was in a state of ihram. He returned it to him and said, "Were it not that we are in ihram, we would have accepted it from you."

أهدى الصعب بن جثامة إلى رسول الله ﷺ حمار وحش وهو محرم فرده وقال لولا أنا محرمون لقبلناه منك
