The Prophet ﷺ used to recite Surah al-Jumuah and Surah al-Munafiqun in the Friday prayer.
حدثنا بهز حدثنا همام عن قتادة عن عزرة عن سعيد بن جبير وعبد الصمد قال حدثنا همام حدثنا قتادة عن صاحب له عن سعيد بن جبير
أن النبي ﷺ كان يقرأ في صلاة الجمعة بالجمعة والمنافقين
Both chains of transmission are sahih, except that Abdul-Samad left unspecified, in the second chain, the identity of Qatada's teacher, who is Azra, as appears in Bahz's narration. This hadith is abridged at 3325, and the rest of it has already appeared, and it concerns reciting in Fajr on Friday. At 3096, from Abdul-Samad and Affan, from Hammam, from Qatada, from Azra, which confirms that Azra is the man whose name Abdul-Samad left unspecified here.Azra, with a zay and a ra, is Ibn Abdul-Rahman. In H it appears as Urwa, which is an error, corrected on the basis of K and of what we have explained.
