Muhammad ﷺ said, "I looked into Paradise and saw that most of its inhabitants were the poor, and I looked into the Fire and saw that most of its inhabitants were women."
حدثنا إسماعيل أنبأنا أيوب عن أبي رجاء العطاردي قال سمعت
قال محمد ﷺ اطلعت في الجنة فرأيت أكثر أهلها الفقراء واطلعت في النار فرأيت أكثر أهلها النساء
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related it, 9:262, through Awf from Abu Raja from Imran bin Husayn, and likewise in it, 11:238, through Salm bin Zurayr from Abu Raja, and he said, Awf followed him in this, and Sakhr and Hammad bin Najih said, from Abu Raja from Ibn Abbas.Hafiz said in Fath al-Bari, at the first location, there is disagreement about it regarding Ayub. Abdul-Warith reported it from him in this way, meaning from Abu Raja from Imran, while Thaqafi and Ibn Ulaya and others said, from Ayub from Abu Raja from Ibn Abbas, and this is the narration of Ibn Ulaya from Ayub.
