Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Prophet ﷺ saw Fadl bin Abbas glancing at a woman on the evening of Arafah, so the Prophet ﷺ placed his hand over the young man's eyes like this and said, "This is a day on which whoever guards his sight and his tongue will be forgiven."

حدثنا وكيع عن سكين بن عبد العزيز عن أبيه

عن ابن عباس

أن النبي ﷺ رأى الفضل بن عباس يلاحظ امرأة عشية عرفة فقال النبي ﷺ هكذا بيده على عين الغلام قال إن هذا يوم من حفظ فيه بصره ولسانه غفر له
