"Thursday, and what a Thursday it was!" Then I noticed his tears streaming down his cheeks like strings of pearls.He said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Bring me a tablet and inkpot, or a shoulder-bone, so I may write for you a document after which you will never go astray."But they said, "Is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ speaking deliriously?"

Its isnad is sahih. Talha bin Musarrif, with the ra doubled and vowelled with kasrah, was al-Yaami, a trustworthy and firmly reliable narrator among the Quran reciters. Abdul-Malik bin Abjar said, "I have never seen anyone like him, and whenever I saw him among a group of people, I always saw him excelling over them."The hadith is an abridged version of 1935, see also 3111."Yahjur" is from "hajr" with the ha vowelled with dammah, meaning that his speech had changed and become confused because of his illness.
