The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to delight in having his family come out on the day of Eid. So we went out, and he prayed without any call to prayer or iqamah. Then he addressed the men. After that, he came over to the women and addressed them, instructing them to give in charity. I saw women removing their pearl earrings and rings, handing them to Bilal to give away as charity.
حدثنا يزيد عن الحجاج عن عبد الرحمن بن عابس
كان رسول الله ﷺ يعجبه في يوم العيد أن يخرج أهله قال فخرجنا فصلى بغير أذان ولا إقامة ثم خطب الرجال ثم أتى القتان فخطبهن ثم أمرهن بالصدقة فلقد رأيت المرأة تلقي تومتها وخاتمها تعطيه بلالا يتصدق به
