The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was fasting on the day of the conquest of Mecca until he reached Qudayd. There he was brought a cup of milk, so he broke his fast and ordered the people to break their fast as well.
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم حدثنا شعبة حدثنا الحكم عن مقسم
صام رسول الله ﷺ يوم فتح مكة حتى أتى قديدا فأتي بقدح من لبن فأفطر وأمر الناس أن يفطروا
