He spent the night with the Prophet of Allah ﷺ. During the night, the Prophet of Allah ﷺ got up, went outside, looked toward the sky, and recited this verse from Surah Al Imran, "Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth..." until he reached "Glory be to You, so protect us from the punishment of the Fire" [Al Imran 3:190–191].Then he returned to the house, used the tooth-stick, performed ablution, stood up and prayed, then lay down. Then he got up again, went outside, looked toward the sky, and recited the same verse. Then he came back, used the tooth-stick, performed ablution, and stood up and prayed.

أنه بات عند نبي الله ﷺ ذات ليلة فقام نبي الله ﷺ من الليل فخرج فنظر إلى السماء ثم تلا هذه الآية التي في آل عمران {إن في خلق السموات والأرض} حتى بلغ {سبحانك فقنا عذاب النار} ثم رجع إلى البيت فتسوك وتوضأ ثم قام فصلى ثم اضطجع ثم قام فخرج فنظر إلى السماء ثم تلا هذه الآية ثم رجع فتسوك وتوضأ ثم قام فصلى
