The Prophet ﷺ went out on the day of Eid, and were it not for my closeness to him, I would not have witnessed it due to my young age. He came to the house of Kathir bin Salt and prayed two rakahs. Then he delivered a sermon and ordered people to give charity. He did not mention any adhan or iqamah.
حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان قال سمعت عبد الرحمن بن عابس قال سمعت
خرج النبي ﷺ يوم عيد ولولا مكاني منه ما شهدته من الصغر فأتى دار كثير بن الصلت فصلى ركعتين قال ثم خطب وأمر بالصدقة قال ولم يذكر أذانا ولا إقامة
