The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out during Ramadan on his expedition to Makkah. He fasted until he reached Qudayd, then he called for a cup of milk and drank it. His companions then broke their fast as well, and they continued on until they reached Makkah.

خرج رسول الله ﷺ في رمضان وهو يغزو مكة فصام رسول الله ﷺ حتى أتى قديدا ثم دعا بقدح من لبن فشربه قال ثم أفطر أصحابه حتى أتوا مكة
