Affan said in his version, "Hakam reported it to me from Yahya bin Jazzar from Suhayb."I asked, "Who is Suhayb?"He replied, "A man from the people of Basrah, who narrated from Ibn Abbas that he was riding a donkey along with a boy from Banu Hashim. They passed in front of the Prophet ﷺ while he was praying, and he did not turn away. Then two girls from Banu Abdul-Muttalib came and took hold of the Prophet's ﷺ knees, so he separated them, and he did not turn away."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر وعفان قالا حدثنا شعبة عن الحكم عن يحيى بن الجزار عن صهيب
وقال عفان يعني في حديثه أخبرنيه الحكم عن يحيى بن الجزار عن صهيب قلت من صهيب قال رجل من أهل البصرة عن ابن عباس أنه كان على حمار هو وغلام من بني هاشم فمر بين يدي النبي ﷺ وهو يصلي فلم ينصرف وجاءت جاريتان من بني عبد المطلب فأخذتا بركبتي النبي ﷺ ففرع بينهما أو فرق بينهما ولم ينصرف
