The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not take anything that has a soul as a target."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن عدي بن ثابت قال سمعت سعيد بن جبير يحدث
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال لا تتخذوا شيئا فيه الروح غرضا
Its chain of transmission is sahih, and it is a repetition of 2586 with its chain, see also 2700, 3133.
