A man fell from his camel while in a state of ihram and broke his neck, or it crushed him, Ayub was uncertain which. They asked the Prophet ﷺ about him, and he said, "Wash him with water and lotus leaves, shroud him in his garment, do not cover his head, and do not bring perfume near him, for Allah will raise him on the Day of Resurrection in a state of ihram."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن أيوب عن سعيد بن جبير
أن رجلا خر عن بعيره وهو محرم فوقصه أو أقصعه شك أيوب فسألوا النبي ﷺ فقال اغسلوه بماء وسدر وكفنوه في ثوبه ولا تخمروا رأسه ولا تقربوه طيبا فإن الله يبعثه يوم القيامة محرما
Its chain of transmission is sahih, and it is a repetition of 3031. As for his saying, "or aqsaahu," this is how it appears in H, while in K it is "or aqassahu," and both are mistakes. What is actually said is "waqasat-hu naqatuhu" and "waqasahu baeeruhu," a trilateral verb from the pattern of "waada," and it does not come as a quadrilateral verb with this meaning. As for "aqsaahu," with the sad placed before the ain, its meaning is far removed, for al-qasa means pressing one thing against another until it kills it or crushes it, and that is not what is meant here. What I consider correct is that the right reading should be "aw aqasahu," with the ain placed before the sad. One says "qasahu" as a trilateral verb and "aqasahu" as a quadrilateral verb, meaning he killed him swiftly.
