Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

Two roasted lizards were brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while Khalid bin Walid was with him. The Prophet ﷺ reached out his hand to eat, but he was told, "It is a lizard," so he withdrew his hand.Khalid asked him, "Is it forbidden, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "No, but it is not found in the land of my people, so I find myself averse to it."So Khalid ate it while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ watched him.
