This is a mursal narration, but in reality it is connected, because Ikrima narrated it from Ibn Abbas from Sawda, so it belongs to her musnad. Ibn Kathir said, following the previous hadith, "Bukhari and Nasai narrated it from the hadith of Shaybi, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas, from Sawda bint Zama, with this wording or something similar." It appears in Bukhari 11:494 through the route of Ismail bin Abu Khalid, from Shaybi, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas, from Sawda, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "A goat of ours died, so we tanned its hide, and we kept using it for making nabidh until it turned into a waterskin." It also appears in Nasai 2:191 through the route of Ismail as well. It will come again in the musnad of Sawda, volume 6, page 429, hadith number. See also Fath al-Bari 9:567-569.
