Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite the Quran to Jibreel every Ramadan. On the morning following the night in which he would recite, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would be more generous than the unleashed wind, never asked for anything without giving it. In the month preceding his death, he recited it twice.

عن ابن عباس قال

كان رسول الله ﷺ يعرض القرآن في كل رمضان على جبريل فيصبح رسول الله ﷺ من ليلته التي يعرض فيها ما يعرض وهو أجود من الريح المرسلة لا يسأل عن شيء إلا أعطاه حتى كان الشهر الذي هلك بعده عرض فيه عرضتين
