The Prophet ﷺ used to send him along with his family to Mina on the Day of Sacrifice so they could throw the pebbles at the Jamrah at dawn.
قال حدثنا هاشم عن ابن أبي ذئب عن شعبة
أن النبي ﷺ كان يبعثه مع أهله إلى منى يوم النحر ليرموا الجمرة مع الفجر
