The Prophet ﷺ was cupped three times, on the two veins at the sides of the neck and between the shoulders, and he paid the cupper his wages. Had it been forbidden, he would not have paid him.

أن النبي ﷺ احتجم ثلاثا في الأخدعين وبين الكتفين وأعطى الحجام أجرته ولو كان حراما لم يعطه إياه
